Tomato Pasta 2


-Spaghetti pasta

-1/2cup onion, diced

-2tsps garlic, minced

-2cans tomatoes

-1tsp tomato paste

-1tsp sugar

-1/4cup pasta water

-Salt and pepper

-3tbsp butter


-1/2cup parmesan cheese

-Fresh basil leaves to garnish


  1. Heat oil,melt butter sauté garlic and onions
  2. Add tomatoes, paste, cook for 1min
  3. Add pasta water
  4. Add pasta and toss well
  5. Season with pepper and salt
  6. Add cheese, toss well and serve
  7. Garnish with cherry tomatoes
